Appointment Policy

 At Catalyst Social Work, all services are available by appointment only. We do not accept walk-ins or provide immediate, same-day sessions. 

To begin the process, prospective clients must complete and submit an Intake Form through our website. This form helps us assess your needs and determine whether our services are appropriate for your situation.

Once the form is submitted:

• A qualified member of our team will review your information in accordance with our professional and ethical obligations as Registered Social Workers in Ontario.
• If your needs align with the scope of services offered at Catalyst Social Work, and an appointment is available, we will contact you to arrange your first session.

• Submitting an Intake Form does not guarantee an appointment or the initiation of a therapeutic relationship.
• If your needs fall outside our scope of practice, we may recommend alternate resources or referrals to ensure you receive the most appropriate support.
• All personal information is handled in compliance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and professional standards set by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
   

Please note that Catalyst Social Work does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are in immediate distress, contact your local crisis service, go to the nearest emergency department, or call 911.
